Carribean Poker
This game is variation of classic poker. This game is played independently from other
players around the table. The object of this game is to beat the dealer's hand.
Rules:
Players place a wager, called an ante; each
player is dealt 5 cards. In the dealer's hand, one of the cards is turned over while the other four remain face
down. At this point the player decides whether to fold (leave the table) or to stay in. If the player decides to
stay in then they must add to their wager in order to double the ante.
Once the player raises the ante, the dealer
turns over his remaining cards. At this point if the dealer does not have at least an ace or a king high in his
hand then the player wins even money on the ante and the additional wager (the raise) is returned. If the dealer
does have an ace or a king in his hand, then that hand qualifies for play against other players. In this case, if
the dealer has a higher hand than the player, the player's ante and bet are collected by the house. If the player
has a higher hand than the dealer, the player is paid even money on the ante and an receives an additional amount
according to the player hand.
